Why f instead of e?

I experienced that schools use F for a failing grade, so I wrote my answer based on that. I thought F was used because it clearly means “fail,” making it easy to understand.

From my perspective, this makes the grading system simpler for students, parents, and teachers. I also found that older grading systems used E, but many schools changed to F to avoid confusion.

When I noticed this, I realized F delivers a direct message about failure. That is why I believe this system is better. From my personal experience, clear grades help me know my level and work on improvement, so I explained it that way.
